Palm Beach

This 1968 gem was meticulously revived by BayleyWard and their passionate client builder. Based in Melbourne’s South Eastern suburbs, the project was true to the original design ethos around zonal living and split levels.

The design process was both restorative and evolutionary, maintaining rich original fabric within the new complementary, contemporary additions which includes the sculptural concrete master suite and sunken lounge as the centrepieces to the main living area. 

A recurring oculus gesture can be found in various applications throughout the house; opening views to the sky, providing curtilage to mature landscape and creating naturally lit, drama-filled spaces.
