ANMF Hotel

Accommodation offered to ANMF (Australian Nursing and Midwifery Foundation) rural and regional members whilst attending conferences, seminars, and educational workshops in the city centre.

Underpinned by the ANMF’s sustainability values the proposed vertical extension over the heritage hotel has been designed as a cross laminated timber (CLT) structure and achieves Passivehouse accreditation.

Bayley Ward undertook extensive research into CLT construction and gained Passivhaus accreditation to meet the client needs and briefing demands. The result is a “fabric first” approach driven by the highest benchmarks in sustainable design, ultimately making the development the most sustainable short stay accommodation in Australia.
