The precinct embraces its place within the site’s industrial heritage by integrating an original Deco Nouveau warehouse structure and an existing bluestone laneway network. The precinct also celebrates its place within the natural environment by re-establishing connections with the revitalised Moonee Ponds Creek, once a significant gathering place and source of food for the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung.
